6 Tips To Efficiently Ship Your Goods and Products

Keep in mind – all shipments have a sender and a receiver which we refer to as the shipper and consignee.

1. Measure and Weigh All Items.

A simple reminder but one that’s worth repeating. Making sure that all items to be shipped have correct measurements and weights goes a long way to getting your cargo moving.

At AIR21, we measure length, width, and height in centimeters and measure weight in kilograms.

2. Learn About the Product and How to Pack.

Not all items can fit in the same box or even be shipped the same way. Review AIR21’s different products and shipping services so you know which service is best for you and your packages.

3. Label Fragile Items to Ensure Your Package is Handled with Special Care.

Sensitive items always need to be properly labeled so that AIR21’s couriers know how to properly handle them.

4. Ensure Complete Details of Consignee.

To avoid confusion between AIR21’s couriers, the consignee, and maybe even you, please make sure that all details of the consignee are accurate and up to date.

The most important details that need to be up to date for the consignee is their name, full address, and either their phone or mobile number. Providing their zip code and email address is also helpful.

Also, as the shipper providing all this information, please remember to make sure your own details are up to date as well.

5. Be Eco-friendly. Consolidate Multiple Shipments.

It would be difficult for everyone if you had a large number of items to ship and you sent them one by one. Ship your items in bundles, like items of the same size or type, to make sure the process goes smoothly.

6. Use Courier’s Shipment Tracker to Locate Your Packages.

Keep yourself informed of your shipment’s progress. Regularly check the AIR21 shipment tracker so that you know what stage of the delivery process your shipment is in.
