AIR21 ships first automobile via air

In partnership with SkyLogistics, the automobile was staged in an aircraft palette, secured by a cargo strap, and protected by a bubble wrap. According to SkyLogistics’ Domestic Cargo Operations Manager, Mr. Nestor Raval, the car is considered as a dangerous good because of its components; thus each car shipped is advised to empty its fuel carriage, discharge the battery, and submission of pertinent documents such as shipper’s declaration of the item as a dangerous good and other important files.
