AIR21 joins the Run for the Pasig River crowd

Despite the heavy downpour of rain on September 30 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle, the AIR21 group together with partners and guests supported the 2012 edition of the ABS-CBN Run for the Pasig River. This year’s theme entitled Run, Ride, and Roll enabled not just runners but also skaters and cyclists to join the four-year old tradition.

AIR21 ran with 210 contingents who carried the purple brand at the 5K category. Along with the participants are Lina Group Chairman Bert Lina with wife, Sylvia, daughter Donna May Lina-Flavier, and AIR21 President Jerry Jara. Three 21K contingents, namely Ann Magat, Ryan Perez, Vic Viola, also ran in the said category. Most participants from your total logistics solutions provider took this run as annual support to the advocacy in rehabilitating the Pasig River particularly the esteros.

This event is much-awaited by AIR21 runners whose pledge extends to the succeeding year as what Mrs. Lina happily says “next year ulit,” pertaining to the fourth time AIR21 sponsorship through delivery of race bibs to all the participants, flatbed for the program stage, tents for the VIP section of the race event, and portable toilets (Portalet) situated around the race route.
