Enhancing trade language through Incoterms®

By admin on March 6th, 2012

AIR21, your total logistics solutions provider, strengthens business partnership with clients through a Free Client Training (FCT) on Incoterms® 2010 held at Traveller’s Inn & Event Center in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales on 28 February 2012.

Led by AIR21 Sales Support Group and AIR21 Academy of Developmental Logistics Director, Mr. Sam Bautista, top clients of AIR21 from the North and Central Luzon Region (NCL) learned  the international language of foreign trade while promoting work efficiency and growth of the company and its professionals. Being authorized as the FedEx brand carrier in the Philippines, AIR21 also took its FedEx Sales representatives and clients to enjoy this privilege.

Incoterms® is an internationally accepted standard for interpreting terms in foreign trade. It establishes a global language for business transactions and cargo security issues especially in countries like the Philippines where logistics is one of the premiere industries. Incoterms® or International Commercial Terms is published by the International Chamber of Commerce and is recognized by the UNCITRAL or the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.

Incoterms® 2010 was approved on 15 September 2010 and turned effective on 01 January 2011.

The Free Client Training program will visit other AIR21 regional stations this year to impart the Incoterms® 2010 knowledge to clients and sales force.
