By admin on August 7th, 2011

AIR21, your total logistics solutions provider, brings good health and happy lifestyle through the second NBA Fit Run held at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, on 7 August 2011.

Runners of various age and sizes ran altogether for the 3k, 5k, 10k, and the newly added 21k category despite the mid-year downpour happening in the metro. NBA Fit and Miami Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra shares his experience on the NBA Fit tour especially on the participants’ passion to be physically fit. “It has been a terrific week. Today is a combination of several people running, walking, crawling, doesn’t matter but we’re all doing it together taking different steps to be physically fit”, says Coach Spo. He also noticed how Filipinos delight in taking photos even in the middle of an action-packed run.

Lina Group Chairman Bert Lina, who is known to be an avid golfer, joined a fun run for the very first time. The fitness involvement that the Chairman advocates is part of the Lina Group commitment in making better lives possible. “Running is one of the athletic exercises that our company’s doing… we are also encouraging the community to indulge themselves into fitness”, says Chairman Lina.

Meanwhile, Coach Rio dela Cruz of RunRio, Inc., the NBA Fit Run organizer, gives his heartfelt gratitude to AIR21. “This one’s the biggest support that we’re getting from AIR21. We’re happy to partner with them and hopefully we have this again next year”, says Coach Rio.

Coach Erik Spoelstra, being with the AIR21 group for several times already, expresses that “we love the people at AIR21, one special organization. It’s about a true family there and they’re already taking important steps, trying to live a healthy and active lifestyle.”
